Presently more 100 jurisdictions worldwide require companies to track and submit data about their products. This number is set to explode in the near future, with individual states/provinces, countries and other authorities taking more interest in protecting our environment.

For most companies, tracking all required data points for all items sold in each jurisdiction is nearly impossible. Companies are often divided into separate business units, with each maintaining their own reporting forms, item, sales and business data with no central repository. Additionally, the data must be stored in a standard format that can be loaded into each jurisdiction's custom reporting format while maintaining fully auditable records.
